Yun, sorry to hear you don’t have as warm a relationship with your parents (by the sounds of it) – I was truly blessed with some of the best. If I’d had my choice, I wouldn’t have been smart enough to pick them for myself.
The two instances, above, were – I believe – them “reaching out” to ME, not the other way around. I was just fat, dumb & happy – until “after the fact”.
You’re right – it was beautiful, but not at the time.

Hi there! I have no personal memories with this one – it was left to me by a friend who was into scale modeling and aviation, in general (especially “back in the day”). What’s the serial number on yours, out of curiosity? I have not had any offers, at all, on this one – yet. I see them sporadically on e-bay, in varying condition. Good luck.

Hi My father has one of these engines we where looking at it today (24 feb 2012) it also is in perfect condition. I remember flying it in a control liner in the late 60s or early 70s. can you tell me did you ever get an offer of $195
