Brown 1/2lb hamburger meat (85% or better!), salt, pepper, beef buillion cube(s), dashes of Gravy Master (mostly for color). Stir well. Put 1 in layer of medium-wide egg noodles on top, add water to only just cover, stir to almost submerge the noodles. Cover pan & let simmer until noodles are cooked to your liking, stirring a few times. If liquid needs thickening, dissolve/stir some corn or potato starch in 1/4 cup water, pour in a bit at a time whilst stirring, until desired consistency.
Serve with a salad & tomatoes (if you have them).
